The RMNCH program is the foundation of a quality healthcare system and service delivery as investing in women's healthcare leads to numerous positive health, social and economic outcomes for present and future generations.
All members of the communities — regardless of their social, financial, gender orientation, religious affiliation, race, or creed — are engaged and participate.
Leadership is essential for positive peace and health outcomes, with emphasis on the following key essential building blocks: Lifelong learning together, Effectively communicating, Advocacy, Data gathering, analysis and usage, Engaged problem solving, Resource mobilization and management, Sustainability and Self-care, Heartfelt compassionate solutions, Innovations and Impact, Partnership.

Our Objectives

Engage, collaborate and coordinate with government institutions (MOH, MOIA, etc.), other health and peacebuilding institutions and donors/partners/stakeholders to:

  • Establish, strengthen and implement the enabling Community Leadership, Management and Governance program.
  • Facilitate the training of the community structures in their roles and responsibilities as owners of the program.
  • Support the community structures to implement, monitor, and supervise the program as a way to transfer leadership and management skills to enable leadership and management of the program by communities.
  • Design, develop and adapt processes and tools for peace building and health programs.
  • Empower community structures to mobilize local resources for sustaining the program.
  • Monitor the management of the mobilized funding and provide technical guidance to enable the communities to administer and transparently account for resources.
  • Work at policy and program levels to strengthen the community to deliver and sustained quality and compassionate Reproductive Maternal newborn and child health (RMNCH), Water and Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Nutrition and peacebuilding services at the community level focusing on local solutions.
